Burial with the Ancestors – Ferta in Early Medieval Ireland

Elizabeth has lectured and published widely on the subject of Irish late pre-historic and early Medieval burial, and, is currently engaged in compiling a book on Irish burial, burial practices, and associated phenomena of the Late Iron-age and early Medieval periods. She was Principal Researcher and compiler of the Mapping Death on-line database, in the INSTAR Mapping Death Project, completed in 2011, and continues to act as principal researcher and curator of the database www.mappingdeathdb.ie which is now accommodated by the Discovery Programme.
